Can we bring our dog with us?
You are welcome to holiday in the chalet with your dog on request. However, the Almdorfservice charges € 10,- per pet and night.
Is it possible to swim in Hohentauern?
Not directly in Hohentauern, but down the valley in Gaishorn am See there is a natural swimming pond and in Fohnsdorf there is a thermal spa.
Is a barbecue available?
Yes, there is a kettle barbecue in the outside storeroom which you are welcome to use. A chimney starter, barbecue cutlery and barbecue gloves are provided. Please bring your own firelighters and charcoal/brickets. Please leave the barbecue clean.
Is there a bakery or breakfast service?
There is currently no bakery delivering breakfast to the chalet door. But there is a small shop in Hohentauern and the Passhöhe restaurant offers fresh pastries at the weekend.
Does the chalet have internet?
Yes, Chalet Triebenstein is equipped with internet and WLAN.
Do you have facilities for small children?
Yes, there are two cots, a highchair and a highchair available free of charge in the chalet. In the living room we have games and books for all ages.
Tobogganing from the Edelrautehütte: what options are there?
There is a toboggan hire service at the Edelrautehütte. Details at www.edelrautehütte.at
Early/late arrival
Check-in is possible from 15-18h at the reception. An earlier check-in is unfortunately not possible, as the Almdorf service needs the time during the day for the guest changeover in the entire Almdorf. If the reception is closed or you arrive after 6pm, please call the Almdorf service on 43 664 4521554.
Why is a short stay not possible?
For 1-2 nights the rent would be relatively high due to the fixed costs. In addition, we unfortunately cannot make any exceptions to the check-in (15-18h) and check-out (up to 10h) times. We want you to be satisfied with our offer, spend a relaxing holiday in the chalet and have enough time to unwind.
